In this ooze-soaked installment of Fernsby’s Cryptid Critter Control, a panicked caller reports eyeball-studded slime bubbling up through toilets, sinks and garden hoses all over town. Joe Fernsby, his gadget-mad nephew Tubin, and their iron-plated automaton Rusty trace the gunk to a Shoggoth-style “black blob of blight” that can sprout limbs, melt metal and—worst of all—eat everything in its path.
Armed with industrial Troll Tweezers, a hot-sauce “slime melter,” and Tubin’s catastrophically chunky chowder, the trio hatch a plan to blockade the sewers, flush the monster into one giant pipe, and pluck out its central brain before it reabsorbs the whole town. When Rusty gets swallowed mid-mission, Tubin must improvise a last-second pepper-powered bazooka that sends the beast screaming back underground.
